Dear Parents, Staff and Students, Greetings!

I feel privileged to be a part of the teaching learning process which takes place at St. Xavier’s High School, which has a long history and a rich legacy. We, the Jesuits, teachers and staff, envision overall development of each and every student of this school, by keeping in mind the motto of the institution, "For God and Country".

Education is an endless journey through knowledge and enlightenment. St. Xavier’s High School Patna prepares the students to meet the challenges of life and moulds them into better citizens to be men and women for others which is one of the characteristics of Jesuits Education.

Our school provides congenial and caring atmosphere for the students to pursue their interests be it literary, athletic, sports, art & craft, music and other cultural activities.

ABOUT SCHOOL

The Jesuit Fathers and Brothers, in collaboration with a competent and dedicated lay staff, run St. Xavier's School. Founded by St. lgnatius Loyola in the 16th century, the Society of Jesus has been associated with education throughout the world and notably in India.

Since the earliest history Jesuit education has been inspired by a vision of man drawn from the life and teachings of Jesus Christ who has always been respected and admired by the people of India. St. Francis Xavier arrived in India in 1541. He died off the China coast in 1552...
